Dr. Samidha Deshmukh received her Doctor in Physical Therapy degree with distinction in 2011 from Simmons University, Boston. She completed her undergraduate in Physiotherapy from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in various sectors of the United States’ healthcare system, including Skilled Rehabilitation Care, Long Term Care, Outpatient Services, and one of the World’s Top Hospitals – Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. She is currently the co-founder and lead mentor of Catalyst Mentorship Program, an e-learning mentorship program for Physiotherapists.
In addition to holding an active PT License in Massachusetts state, Dr. Deshmukh holds the APTA Board’s specialty certification in Geriatrics. She completed her graduate certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University Extension School and is now advancing her career as a leader in the US Healthcare System through her MBA in Health Sector Management at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
She holds a deep interest in bringing innovation to the Physical Therapy profession, which is evident through her role as a Co-founder of the Catalyst Mentorship Program and now the Business Strategy Director of The PhysioZest.
She believes in purpose-driven, servant leadership. In her free time, she bakes using French culinary techniques, designing jewelry, and playing violin with her 10-year-old. Volunteering for the elderly gives her immense pleasure.
